Siddhanta Madhuri · Pad 11
are mana! kāhe karata gumāna
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh mind! Your vanity is absolutely baseless. Give your ears to this. You become polite and humble day and night before your wife, husband, etc. for the objects of the senses which are like faeces; where remains your pride then? But here, in the spiritual realm, even the pride exists in the form that I am the servitor and Bhagwan Kṛishṇa is my Lord. Everybody makes mistakes in this world, but he alone is wise in the true sense of the term, who realizes his mistakes. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh mind! You also accept your error and becoming alert, start loving captivatingly beautiful Shyāmasundara.”
