Siddhanta Madhuri · Pad 9
are mana! ihai sāra sansāra
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh mind! The only substance in this unsubstantial world is, that you continuously practise devotion to Shyāmasundara after attaining this human body which is unattainable even by heavenly gods. Just think yourself; you do not have to spend even a single penny in doing so. Therefore, think day and night only about Him. Shyāmasundara pervades each and every particle of the world. Sing only His names, forms, attributes etc. You will lose nothing. Counting on beads or simple repetition of divine name, austerity, yoga, sacrifices, fasts, regulations, rites, moral values etc. cannot liberate you from māyā. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Without surrendering yourself to Shyāmasundara, the attainment of happiness even in a dream is impossible, although you may carry up your life to completion practising millions of means.”
