Siddhanta Madhuri · Pad 4

anokho hari tumharo khilavāra

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

Oh Bhagwan Kṛishṇa! Your līlās are very strange. You have always deceived the world from time immemorial by putting on the guise of worldly people who act under the influence of the three modes of māyā - sattva (goodness and purity), raja (passion) and tama (darkness and inertia). Those incomprehensible līlās of Yours which create doubt even in the minds of Bhagwan Shaṅkara and the liberated souls like Shukadeva, Sanaka etc. are always displayed by You in front of the fallen mundane beings in Your repeated incarnations. Consequently, the worldly souls become full of doubts seeing Your actions due to their nature of judging everything through their intellect. The secret that You remain transcendental and untouched by māyā even while performing the actions of māyā’s three modes, is beyond their understanding. Thus, when they constantly accumulate the unforgivable sin, nāmāparādha, what can be the way out for their deliverance? Oh Bhagwan Kṛishṇa! No matter how hard the saints try, the individual souls cannot have faith in You unless they understand the hidden secrets of Your actions. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that he alone can understand the secret of Your divine sports performed through yogamāyā , whom You make to understand through Your grace.
