are mana! suna guru-tatva-vichāra
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A realized soul, addressing his mind, says, “Listen to the importance of Guru (Spiritual Master). He alone is Guru who destroys the darkness of ignorance. Although according to all the Vedas and scriptures, Guru and God are one, and one attains divine love-bliss by the grace of either of these two, yet there is one secret, and that is, it is impossible to attain God without the grace of Guru, whereas,” says Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, “it is absolutely possible to attain the grace of Guru and divine love-bliss without worshipping God. My frequent bows to such a great Guru!”
