Sadguru Madhuri · Pad 1
asa rasa mahaṁ, mohiṁ sadguru borī
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Expressing his heartfelt gratitude towards his Spiritual Master, a completely surrendered disciple says, “My merciful Spiritual Master has drowned me in the ocean of divine love-bliss. Although this bliss cannot be described in words, it is such that in comparison to it, even the most cherished goals of life, i.e. righteousness (dharma), wealth (artha), pleasure (kāma) and liberation (moksha) seem to be absolutely dull and charmless. What to say more, even the bliss of Baikuṇṭha does not fascinate me even in my dreams. My mind is attracted only by two personalities – one is naughty Shyāmasundara and the other is innocent Rādhā-Rānī. Now I unceasingly drink the sweet nectar of divine love that flows in the form of mahārāsa in the bowers of Braja – the nectar that is unattainable even by Brahmāṇī, Rudrāṇī and Lakshmī. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “It is impossible for me to repay the debt of such an indescribably great Spiritual Master even in crores of kalpas.”
