bhaju rādhe govinda ghanashyāma re, bhaju mana shrī rādhe

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

Oh mind! Engage yourself in the constant remembrance of Shrī Rādhā- Kṛishṇa. Both Rādhā and Kṛishṇa are the very repository of the nectar of unutterable beauty and remain incessantly engaged in various līlās of divine love in the beautiful, flowery groves of Vṛindāvana. Their bewitchingly beautiful forms surpass even the combined beauty of crores of Kāmadevas and Ratis. Both Rādhā and Kṛishṇa are the crest-jewel of rasikas and are exceedingly affluent in love. Looking at Their heart-robbing peerless pair, it seems as if Beauty and Adornment themselves have appeared in their personified form. They always shower the nectarean bliss of divine love in Their divine abode, Braja. The Supreme God, Shrī Kṛishṇa, remained incomprehensible even to the eternally liberated paramahansas like Sanaka etc. The four Vedas also, unable to praise His glory, ended up describing Him as ‘neti, neti’ (i.e. not only this, not only this). That same Brahma, Shrī Kṛishṇa is made to dance without any cost by gopīs in the lanes of Braja. Brahma Shrī Kṛishṇa, who is always meditated upon by the greatest meditators in their trance and who is referred to as absolutely detached even by the great men of knowledge, has been made the collyrium of their eyes by maidens of Braja. Both Rādhā and Kṛishṇa are the moon as well as the chakora bird for each other. Engrossed in the ecstasy of divine love, They speak the wordless language of love with Their eyes. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Blessed is this inimitably lovely pair of Shrī Rādhā-Kṛishṇa! I sacrifice myself totally on it.”
