Prakirna Madhuri · Pad 3
ore tore mana kapaṭa khaṭāī rī, jā jāre jāre harajāī
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Seeing the marks of amorous-love on Shyāmasundara’s body, Kishorī Jī says, “Oh Promiscuous One! Your mind is full of deceit, therefore go away from Me. You tell Me that I am the life of Your life and that You cannot survive without the life i.e. Me. You coax Me in this way by flattering words. Just take a mirror and look at Your crimson eyes and Your forehead beautified with red mihāvara. It is evident that You have taken shelter at some sakhī’s feet.” Shyāmasundara said, “Oh Māninī Jī! Listen even to Me. I have passed the night awake in Your remembrance only, that is why My eyes have become reddish. I had worshipped Govardhana for pleasing You and had wept placing My head on the feet of King Girirāja.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, “My forehead is besmeared with that same gulāla which was applied to His feet in worship. There is no scope for any doubt.”
