Virah Madhuri · Pad 162
viyogini, aṁsuvana hāra piroya
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A virahiṇī is continuously wreathing garlands of tears. (Tears flowing from the two eyes unite in the middle of the chest, thus taking the shape of a garland.) Calling to mind Shyāmasundara, she weeps moment after moment. The sight of Gahvaravana, Vṛindāvana and Nidhivana makes her go through unbearable agony of separation. She is frequently reminded of the divine love-bliss of mahārāsa showered in Sevā-kuñja. She likes nothing at all, both inside and outside the home, including even her dear and near ones, ornaments, beautiful clothes etc. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that blessed is that virahiṇī who, even after receiving such intolerable grief, does not get displeased with her Beloved but, on the contrary, says that let the Beloved do whatever makes Him happy.
