Virah Madhuri · Pad 150
rahata ina, nainana nita barasāta
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A virahiṇī says, “My eyes continuously rain tears. This rain does not stop even for a second since the moment Shyāmasundara ignited the fire of separation in my heart. Everyone asks me, ‘You have husband, son, wealth and everything. Why then do you weep day and night?’ Oh sakhi! You tell me yourself, how I can tell anyone about my adulterous love. And if I don’t shed tears, the fire of separation continues to burn the body.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh sakhi! It is impossible for anyone to hide love by any means whatsoever when it becomes intense.”
