bhramara! tū, jani guna-guna guñjāra
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Seeing a black bee humming on Her feet, Kishorī Jī, who is in the state of divine intoxication, is reminded of black-complexioned Shyāmasundara. Indirectly rebuking Shyāmasundara, She says to the bee, “Oh black bee! Don’t produce the sweet humming sound of ‘gun, gun’. Although you speak sweetly from your mouth, you are full of deceit in your heart and are rolling on My feet in order to deceive Me. Oh bee! I know very well that leaving aside one flower, you go on another, and then leaving that too, you go on the third one. Thus, you keep on shifting from one flower to the other for your enjoyment. Oh harajāī bee! Go away from My sight and sing these glories of the Beloved which you are singing before Me, before Kubjā etc. and please them. In Mathurā, as is the king, so are the subjects. The meaning is that even your behaviour is deceitful like your king Shyāmasundara. But now you cannot deceive Me, no matter how hard you try.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh bee! Even a blind man measures every step very carefully after stumbling once.”
