piya binu, mo kahaṁ kachhu na suhāya
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A virahiṇī says, “Without beloved Shyāmasundara, everything appears to be lustreless and unattractive to me. Being entrapped by His all-attractive sweet form, these obstinate eyes established a sweet relationship with Him without realizing what they were doing, and brought even ears, nose, tongue, skin, i.e. all senses of knowledge, in their favour. Now, all these senses desire the fulfilment of their respective subjects i.e. form, words, smell, taste and touch from the Beloved only. Seeing all the senses drowned in the bliss of the Beloved, even the mind has joined them. Seeing the senses and the mind thus intoxicated, the intellect, too, lost its consciousness, i.e. joined the senses and the mind. Now whenever the soul that is left alone wants to leave the body, these senses, mind and intellect come and forcibly stop it from doing so, i.e. all of them advise it to cherish the hope of meeting the Beloved.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Only the deep sighs and moans of love ‘Hāi, hāi!’ stood by me.”
