kahata hari, sunu saba brajabanitāna
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Shyāmasundara’s response to gopīs’ heart-rending lamentation – Oh Braja-maidens! All of you listen with attention. I know that I am the life of even the life of Braja-gopīs, and you also know this very well that even you are the life of My life. But you also know that I have descended for the welfare of the world. Besides, real love consists in merging one’s happiness into the happiness of one’s Beloved. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that to love is equal to run over the sharp edge of a sword.
