ūdho!, dhani tava gyāna prachāra
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
The maidens of Braja, suffering from the pangs of separation from Bhagwan Kṛishṇa, say to Uddhava, “Oh Uddhava! We ask you, who can speak without speech (words) in the world? How is it possible to walk without feet, or to hear without ears? And how is it possible to work without hands and to speak without tongue? Just think about this. In the same way, how can one, whose mind and intellect have been stolen by Shyāmasundara, hear and ponder over your knowledge of Impersonal Brahma? Oh Uddhava! To laugh uproariously and to keep the cheeks swollen are two opposite actions. Only Bhagwan Kṛishṇa can perform them at one time.” Therefore, Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Open this bundle of knowledge in His court. There is no customer of this knowledge in Braja.”
