ūdho!, kahiyo kṛipānidhāna
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Sending a message to Shyāmasundara through Uddhava, the maidens of Braja state, “Uddhava! Tell that Ocean of Mercy, God, that according to the Vedas and Purāṇas, He is causelessly merciful, therefore, showing His mercy to us, let that King of Kings come here just once and bless us with His blissful sight. If He cannot do so, tell Him to bless us at least with this boon that in our next life, we should be born only in Mathurā and get the body of a hunchbacked woman only.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, the gopīs add, “Then we will surely be blessed with His grace and meet Him definitely.”
