ūdho!, kahiyo una chitachora

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

Maidens of Braja send the following message to Shyāmasundara through Uddhava, “Oh Uddhava! Say to that Stealer of heart that first, He stole away our heart through various types of divine love-sports and jesting and joking, and now, He sends the message through you that we should attach our heart to the knowledge of the Impersonal Brahma. Oh Uddhava! Shyāmasundara has mixed the poison of separation in the nectar of His sweet association. Had I known this before, I would not have looked at Him even with the core of my eyes.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says to the sakhī, “Oh sakhi! Have you not heard the saying that ‘the mighty hits and permits no bewailing’? The implication is, Shyāmasundara is powerful, therefore He can do whatever He wants.”
