ūdho!, kahā kahauṁ tina kāhiṁ
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Maidens of Braja say to Uddhava, “Oh Uddhava! What can we say to that Shyāmasundara who, renouncing innumerable maidens of Braja, who are the reservoir of countless virtues, goes to the house of a hunchbacked woman (Kubjā)! Uddhava! You yourself tell as to how we can trust such a liar whose intentions and words do not coincide. The remembrance of whose past sweet līlās makes our entire being overwhelmed with love”, in the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, “the present doings of that same Beloved of ours fill every fibre of our being with fear.”
