aho prāṇeshvara! prāṇādhāra!
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A gopī, languishing in beloved Shyāmasundara’s separation, sighs, “Oh Lord of my life! Oh crest-jewel of rasikas! Oh reservoir of virtues! Oh Nāgara Nandakumāra! To whom can I disclose the grief of my heart except You? Where should I go? Who can understand the anguish of my heart besides You? Oh Beloved! I have become unable to see anything of this world now, because tears stream down my eyes incessantly. I constantly experience a kind of stabbing pain in my heart in the intense yearning for Your sweet union. Consequently, I become totally oblivious of the world. Oh Lord of my life! I myself do not understand how I am still alive. All I know is I live and die thousand times a day.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says “Oh causelessly merciful Beloved! Do not be so cruel-hearted. Do come and bless me with Your sight immediately.”
