batāo sakhi! rādhe gaīṁ kaunī ora?
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Rādhikā Jī has gone somewhere in the state of māna. Agonised in Her separation, beloved Shyāmasundara inquires about Her from Her sakhīs. Oh sakhīs! At least tell Me in what direction Kishorī Jī has gone. I touch your feet, beg you and sacrifice Myself on you again and again. It may be possible for a fish to remain alive without water and there may be morning without the sun, but it is utterly impossible for Me to survive without Kishorī Jī. Even a moment without Her seems to Me like a kalpa. I feel excruciating pain in My heart. Oh sakhīs! All of you used to call Me dearer than your life, but now you yourself are becoming the cause of My death by not telling Me the whereabouts of Kishorī Jī. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Thus lamenting, Shyāmasundara fell on the ground in a swoon uttering, ‘Hā Rādhe!”
