Maan Madhuri · Pad 43
māninī! bāta māna taju māna
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Lalitā sakhī, trying to pacify Kishorī Jī, says, “Oh Kishorī Jī! Now, please listen to me and end Your māna. Oh Kishorī Jī! Here, You are sitting in māna, and there, beloved Shyāmasundara is about to die. Here, You don’t even listen to me, and there, Beloved has become mad without You. He is calling out for You with great impatience saying, “Hā Rādhe! Hā Rādhe!” in the beautiful arbours, and is frequently falling on the ground in a swoon. It seems that He won’t survive for long.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says to Shrī Rādhā, “Oh Kishorī Jī, believe me, even in this world, people say that extremity of anything is very bad.”
