lalī binu, saba viparīta lakhāta
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
(Beloved Shyāmasundara’s lamentation in separation from Kishorī Jī.) “All the natural elements seem reverse to Me without Kishorī Jī. I don’t even like the group of My dearest sakhīs and their equipage. The whole world knows that the moon showers rays of nectar, but contrarily, it showers burning coals for Me. The bed of tender new leaves gives joy to everybody, but even that seems to be anxious to eat Me up like a female snake. Even the cool, gentle and perfumed breeze makes me absolutely impatient, as if it is practising some black magic on Me.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, Bhagwan Kṛishṇa says, “Even the voice of cuckoos, parrots and peacocks gives Me constant pain by becoming as harsh as the thunderbolt.”
