bali jāuṁ manāvana-māna kī
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
I sacrifice myself again and again on Kishorī Jī’s māna and Shyāmasundara’s attempt to pacify Her. I offer myself on the eye-brows of Kishorī Jī which are tightly-knit in anger, and on Shyāmasundara, who is looking at Her with fear, standing with His hands folded, His eyes filled with tears and His body shivering. Beloved Shyāmasundara wants to say something but He cannot gather enough courage. He is only looking at Kishorī Jī’s eyebrows repeatedly, i.e. He is waiting for Her anger to subside a little before praying to Her. For beloved Shyāmasundara, one moment has become as long as a kalpa and His condition is exactly like that of a fish without water. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that the sakhīs are peeping at this curious phenomenon of the Divine Couple from behind the creepers, sitting in a grove stealthily.
