shrī rādhe rānī! abakī lehu apanāya

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

(The discussion of Shyāmasundara with māninī Rādhā, in an attempt to please Her.) Bhagwan Kṛishṇa pleads, “Oh Rādhe! I am begging for Your forgiveness. Please do forgive Me now. It is impossible for Me to live without You. Please accept Me at least this time.” Shrī Rādhā says, “Go away from here, Beloved! Rādhe can’t be fooled by Your flattery any more.” Hearing this, Bhagwan Kṛishṇa, feeling very nervous and restless, held Shrī Rādhā’s feet and beseechingly said, “Where shall I go now?” implying that He lives in those feet alone, where else can He go? Kishorī Jī immediately withdrew Her feet and tauntingly remarked, “Oh Beloved! These are not the feet of Chandrāvalī which You always embrace to Your heart.” Saying thus, Shrī Kishorī Jī sat away from Shyāmasundara forcibly, turning Her face in the opposite direction while Shyāmasundara continued shedding rivulets of tears. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh Kishorī Jī! Shyāmasundara is absolutely blameless. The thing is He is, always defeated by His simple, merciful nature.”
