māninī! bāta hamārī māna
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Trying to pacify Shrī Rādhā, Lalitā sakhī says to Her, “Oh Swāminī Jī! Please trust my words. You always do māna without trying to understand anything. What habit of Yours is this? You don’t ask even me? Chandrāvalī had gone to my house last night. She got late; therefore, she slept there only. Shyāmasundara had not come there.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “He who listens with someone else’s ears i.e. readily believes in anyone’s words without inquiring into the matter is easily deceived by everyone.”
