hama dekhe ḍhoṭā nanda ke
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A gopī says to her intimate friend, “Oh sakhi! I have seen Nandakumāra. I have also heard that He is the incarnation of Sachchidānanda Brahma. The moment I saw the essence of bliss, Shyāmasundara, I, even after being most clever, was captivated. Oh sakhi! The happiness experienced by me when He smiled gently is known only to my eyes and the happiness felt after listening to the sweet melodies of His flute is known only to my ears.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, addressing himself, says in humour, “Shyāmasundara is the crest-jewel of tricksters; therefore, beware of Him, otherwise you will also have to suffer badly.”
