mohiṁ mohi liyo niramohiyā
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A gopī’s first sweet meeting with the lord of gopīs, Shyāmasundara and her revelation of it to her intimate friend – Oh sakhi! That cruel Manamohana captivated my heart forcibly. One day I was going to Gahvaravana when I met Him on the way itself. He called me and said, “Oh sakhi! Why have you stolen My heart?” I was all-alone, what could I do? He did whatever He felt like doing. Now I want that same infatuating sight and that same enchanting touch of the Beloved again. My mind has refused to be at peace even for a moment. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says to the sakhī, “Oh sakhi! He is such a trickster that no woman can come back safe from Him, even if she is Brahmāṇī or Rudrāṇī or anyone else.”
