bhaṭū! maiṁ, paṭū laṭū bhai āja
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A sakhī says to her intimate friend – “Oh sakhi! Even after being so clever, I lost my heart to someone today. The deceitful Shyāmasundara robbed even me. Now, wherever I turn my eyes, I see none else but Him. I have lost even the natural bashfulness of a woman. On one side, I am an unmarried woman, and on the other, is this adulterous love. This complicated problem has befallen my head like a thunderbolt. Even the pain of separation has attacked me with all its army and its poison is spreading all over my body like the poison on being stung by a scorpion.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says to the gopī, “If you can arrange, I can tell you the remedy. If, somehow or the other, you succeed in meeting Shyāmasundara, you will immediately be cured of this poison.”
