sakhī! dou, jhūlata mṛidu musakāta
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh sakhi! Shyāmā-Shyāma are swinging, smiling sweetly. Just as dense clouds roar in the sky producing the sound of ‘ghanana’, in the same way, Shyāmasundara too, continues to sing while swinging, feeling beside Himself with joy. And just as with the clouds, the unsteady lightning shines in flashes; similarly with Shyāmasundara, Kishorī Jī also gets drowned in bliss every now and then. But there is one difference between the lightning and Kishorī Jī, and that is, the lightning is fickle whereas Kishorī Jī, sitting with the black cloud in the form of black-complexioned Shyāmasundara is unmoving and steady. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “The scene of the Divine Couple’s swinging is something only to be seen, it is absolutely indescribable in words.”
