Nikunj Madhuri · Pad 16

prema-rasa, barasata kuñja majhāra

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

There is a constant rain of divine love-sweetness in the bowers of Vṛindāvana, showered by the divine couple Shrī Rādhā-Kṛishṇa. There is shining the full moon of Sharat and there are blossoming different flowers of spring-season such as mallikā (a kind of jasmine) etc. Listening to the enchanting music of Shyāmasundara’s flute, even the greatest self-realized souls like Shaṅkara, Sanaka, etc. forgot their trance. The group of gopīs, throwing side-long glances with the movement of the eyebrows, is dancing with the divine couple, Shrī Rādhā-Kṛishṇa. All the gopīs, along with Shyāmā-Shyāma, are singing raga Malhāra with tānas and ālāpas, in their sweet voices. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh my mind! If you also want to participate in the above-mentioned divine rāsa dance, surrender yourself to Shyāmā-Shyāma.”
