sakhina mahaṁ, nāmī chitrā nāma
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
The most famous sakhī among all the gopīs is known as Chitrā. The effulgence of her body is of vermillion colour. Her beauty captivates even crores of Kāmadevas. Her extremely beautiful clothes of golden colour steal away the heart. She serves all types of sweet drinks, mixed with different types of perfumed essences, to Bhagwan Rādhā and Kṛishṇa. She knows the inner desires of Rādhā-Kṛishṇa, and is very intelligent, elegant and fanciful. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that she possesses ever-increasing love for Rādhā-Kṛishṇa, and always stays with Them.
