Mahasakhi Madhuri · Pad 2
champakalatā, sakhina-siramora
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Champakalatā is the crest-jewel of all the gopīs. The colour of her body like that of champaka flower is very captivating and she remains constantly drowned in the ocean of divine love. The blue colour of her dress steals away even the colour of the sky. She always prepares delicious varieties of food for Shyāmā-Shyāma. She is fully acquainted with the art and the intimate tricks of love. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “She always acts in that way alone which enhances the mutual love of Shrī Rādhā-Kṛishṇa.”
