dekhu sakhi!, swāmini ko shṛiṅgāra
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh sakhi! Look, Kishorī Jī has decorated Herself as Shyāmasundara! A peacock-feather is beautifying the jewel-embedded crown of gold. The fish-shaped earrings studded with gems and the beautiful besara are looking extremely lovely! How taking the movement of the eyebrows, the dangle of curly tresses and the entangling of the yellow cloth with the staff is! The jingle of the kaṅkaṇas, the girdle bells and anklets, all made of gold, is overly alluring. Seeing Her unsteady staggering, intoxicated gait, even naughty Shyāmasundara repeatedly says ‘Balihāra!’ Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī (humorously) says, “All this is fine, but how bad black-complexioned Shyāmasundara must be feeling upon seeing Kishorī Jī’s outstandingly fair body!”
