yugalavara, jala bicha karata bihāra
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Shrī Rādhā-Kṛishṇa are playing in the waters of the river Yamunā. The entire group of the gopīs, with lotus flowers filled in bags, surrounded the Beloved; and receiving signal from Kishorī Jī, became prepared to start their antics. One of them threatens to hit Him with the lotus flowers she has in her hand, and another is quietly holding onto them for a sudden attack. One of them is chasing Him, while another, an extremely clever gopī, giving pleasure to the Beloved with the long side-glances of her love-laden eyes, is waiting for an opportunity to hit Him with the flowers. Playing games with lotus flowers in this way, Shyāmasundara sometimes moves away, and at other times, hides Himself in the water. But while doing so, He starts being swept away in the current of the Yamunā. Seeing these wonderful līlās of the Supreme Brahma, Shrī Kṛishṇa, even the Yamunā has stopped its ever moving flow! Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “I sacrifice myself again and again on these divine aquatic sports.”
