Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
(In order to please māninī Rādhā, Bhagwan Kṛishṇa has put on the guise of a Vīṇāvārī (a lady with a vīṇā in her hand.) Shyāmasundara, in the guise of a Vīṇāvārī (a lady with the musical instrument called vīṇā) is looking absolutely unique. Beholding the beauty of the sixteen traditional embellishments bedecking Her, millions of ‘Ratis’ sacrifice themselves on Her. That exceedingly enchanting Vīṇāvārī, with Her chin resting on Her hand, is sitting at Kusuma sarovara. Kishorī Jī suddenly reaches at the spot and inquires, “Oh Vīṇāvārī! Who are You? What is the name of Your husband?” Vīṇāvārī replied, “I belong to the abode of gods (heaven) and am still unmarried. Realizing this world to be devoid of true happiness, I have detached Myself from it.” Kishorī Jī, obviously impressed by Vīṇāvārī, prayed to Her, “Please stay with Me in My palace; I will serve You with My own hands.” Vīṇāvārī said, “Oh Kishorī Jī! Only that person can take Me to his or her house, who promises not to disobey any of My commands.” Kishorī Jī accepted the condition, and thus, in the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, Kishorī Jī was deceived by the trickster, Shyāmasundara due to Her extremely innocent nature.
