anūpama, jorī shyāmā shyāma

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

Shrī Rādhā (Shyāmā) and Shrī Kṛishṇa (Shyāma) make an utterly incomparable and unique pair. Kishorī Jī is bedecked with all the sixteen traditional adornments and Shyāmasundara is dressed in the style of an acrobat. Both of Them, with Their arms around each other, remain constantly engaged in transcendental līlās in Vṛindāvana. Although Shyāmā-Shyāma are self-contented, yet They perform divine rāsa dance in beautiful bowers, to have a glimpse of which even the greatest paramahansas like Sanaka etc. are dwelling in Braja in the form of trees abandoning their craze for meditative trance. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī states that the very soul of self-contented Supreme God, Shyāmasundara is known by the name of Shyāmā.
