Shri Radha Madhuri · Pad 36
lakhī jina bhānulalī musakāna
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
He, who has seen Shrī Rādhikā Jī’s smile which is sweeter than even personified sweetness, forcibly forgets the sweetness of the smile of Shyāmasundara, the crest-jewel of rasikas. This intimate bliss is known only by the rasikas endowed with ‘sakhī-bhāva’, living in Kishorī Jī’s palace. It can never be experienced by gyānīs who are like donkeys carrying the burden of prosaic words. In order to have a glimpse of even a little of Kishorī Jī’s sweet smile, Shyāmasundara, the enticer of even Kāmadeva, sacrifices His body, mind and the very soul. Seeing Kishorī Jī’s sweet smile, the greatest paramahansas like Sanaka etc. forget their trance-meditation. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that it is amazing that even after drinking such sweet nectar of Kishorī Jī’s smile, the self-magnanimous maidens of Braja are able to serve Her without becoming unconscious. (This is a miracle of the divine power, Yogamāyā).
