hamāro shrī vṛindāvana chanda
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Shyāmasundara alone is our ‘everything’. He, who is called the essence of existence, knowledge and bliss (sachchidānanda) by the Vedas, has descended as the son of Nanda in Braja. The inseparable soul of that same Supreme God has been described as Rādhā by those Vedas. Both of Them, i.e. Rādhā and Kṛishṇa bless the deserving devotees with the Supremely sweet love, showering the nectarean divine love-bliss of rāsa unceasingly. The essence of bliss, Nandanandana eternally engages Himself in enacting ever-new līlās of divine love sometimes in Vṛindāvana, sometimes in Nidhivana and sometimes in Gahvaravana. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that even the greatest personalities like Bhagwan Shaṅkara wander in the lanes of Braja, tied up with the rope of Shyāmasundara’s love.
