Shri Krishna Madhuri · Pad 12
dṛigana bicha halakaiṁ ali alakeṁ
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh sakhi! Shyāmasundara’s curly tresses are, as if swaying in our eyes. We want to see them without any interruption; but these eyelids keep on interrupting us in between. There always brims over the nectar of love from Shyāmasundara’s mischievous eyes. Kuṇḍalas always dwindle in His ears. Muktāhala adorned in His nose swings the entire time. Pītāmbara can always be seen shining on His chest. The sight of His turning back repeatedly and smiling sweetly is extremely captivating, for seeing which our eyes long persistently. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “You also go to the city of love and be blessed with the sight of Bhagwan Kṛishṇa’s curly tresses.”
