Shri Krishna Madhuri · Pad 5
kahuṁ dekhe jashudā lāla re
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A sakhī asks her friend, “Oh sakhi! Have you, somewhere, seen Shyāmasundara, whose head is beautified with a peacock-feather and on whose cheeks are dangling curly locks of hair; whose eyes are full of love and on whose forehead is the tilaka of saffron; on whose shoulders are beautified a lathi and a black blanket and whose neck is embraced with the necklace of divine Kaustubha gems; around whose waist is tied a beautiful kiṅkiṇī, around whose feet are lovely anklets, and whose gait puts even the intoxicating gait of a swan to shame?” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, the sakhī adds, “Have you somewhere seen Shyāmasundara, who stands captivatingly curving His limbs at three places and plays enchantingly on His flute?”
