Shri Krishna Madhuri · Pad 2

anokho, jāyo jashudā lāla

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

Yashodā has given birth to a unique son. The slant of His peacock-feathered crown is extremely unique and so are His black curly hair. The movement of His shapely curved eyebrows is excessively unexcelled and the same is true about the tilaka applied on His forehead. Fabulously unequalled are His alluring sidelong looks of love and so also are His bewitching big eyes. His sweet and engaging smile as well as the garland of fragrant flowers dangling down His neck is also immoderately unmatched. The flutter of His pītāmbara is also overly incomparable and exactly so is the red kāchhanī tied over it. Intemperately unbeatable is the soft tinkling music of His anklets and identically so is His swan-like gait. The gentle curve of His neck, waist and legs are superlatively unrivalled and equally so is the melodious music of His matchless flute. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī concludes that everything about Him is so unique that even the lord of the yogis, Shaṅkara, and the leader of paramahansas, Shukadeva, have fallen under His spell.
