Shri Krishna Bal Leela Madhuri · Pad 33
lalī saṁga, khelata bāla gupāla
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Little Kṛishṇa is playing with little Kishorī Jī. Before the commencement of the game, naughty Shāmasundara, in accordance with His eternal illusory style, said, “Look! Whoever loses in the game will have to pay the stake at once. And the stake is that if You lose, You will have to marry Me and if I lose, I will marry You.” (Thus inferring that in both the ways, We two will get married to each other.) Extremely innocent Kishorī Jī could not understand this cleverness of Shyāmasundara and consented to play the game. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī exclaims in his mind, “Blessed is the snare of the Lord of māyā!”
