hamāro, bhoro bhāro kānha
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Mother Yashodā says, “Our Kanhaiyā is extremely innocent.” Talking with a lisp, little Shyāmasundara asks Mother Yashodā, “Oh Maiyā! What is the proof that you are My mother? It is to ask only this that brother Dāū and other friends have sent Me to you.” Mother Yashodā said, “Lālā! This, You ask from Your father.” Nandabābā told Shyāmasundara with a smile, “Oh Shyāmasundara! This is true that she is Your mother, and I, the father. Bring the boy, who does not believe this, to me. I will make him understand by some other means (i.e. through beating).” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī comments, “We sacrifice our innumerable lives on this innocence of Shyāmasundara.”
