Shri Krishna Bal Leela Madhuri · Pad 1
asa jasumati ke bhaye lāla re
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Yashodā has given birth to a unique son. On the most auspicious occasion of His birth, all men and women are dancing so happily, clapping their hands together, that it seems as if a penniless beggar has suddenly stepped on a vast treasure. The flowers and buds being showered have filled even the drains, and the gulāla being thrown is flying from end to end in each and every lane. All cowherd men and women are so besotted with bliss that, in a state of absent-mindedness, they neither speak to nor listen to anyone. The whole Braja seems to be hypnotized - no one is conscious of his wife, son and daughter at all. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “What more to say, whoever happens to see this blissful festival of Bhagwan Kṛishṇa’s birth becomes immediately enchanted by it.”
