rasikajana-dhana govardhana dhāma
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
The divine abode, Govardhana, is the treasure of rasikas. Absolutely untouched by the three modes of māyā, extremely divine and transcendental, it is the resting place for the residents of Braja. Studded with emeralds all over, this Govardhana destroys even the pride of Mount Sumeru. In Govardhana, there are many enchanting places like Rādhākuṇḍa, Kusuma Sarovara, etc. where Rādhā-Kṛishṇa perform various līlās. This Govardhana is worshipped even by the Supreme God Shrī Kṛishṇa, who destroyed the pride of Indra, the king of heaven, and is absolutely self-contented. Here, Bhagwan Kṛishṇa always plays different games with His eternal friends of Goloka, Shrīdāmā etc. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “When will the time come when I, too, will become extremely fortunate by residing in such a divine, transcendental abode, Govardhana?”
