Dainya Madhuri · Pad 103
hameṁ to shyāma nāma soṁ kāma
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
We are concerned only with the name of Shyāmasundara. When Shyāmasundara and His name are equal in importance, why should I care for Shyāmasundara? Again, Shyāmasundara likes pure-hearted souls, whereas His name likes impure-hearted ones. Shyāmasundara abandoned even those gopīs who are the crest-jewel of rasikas and whose foot-dust is begged for even by Brahmā etc., and went to live in Dwārikā. But, says Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, one can never experience separation from His name. What to say more, it is impossible for even Shyāmasundara to make someone separated from His name.
