Dainya Madhuri · Pad 102
hameṁ to, eka tihārī āsa
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh Shyāmasundara! You are our one and only hope. In this world, different people rely on different means but we trust only You. There are some who practise austerities, sacrifices, almsgiving etc. and some go through japa, fasts etc. Some go on the pilgrimage of all the four shrines (Badrinātha, Rāmeshwaram, Dwārikā and Jagannāthapurī), and some reside in Kāshī. Some desire for heaven and liberation, while some for the opulence of Baikuṇṭha. But, says Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, we long only for You, having become Your servant exclusively.
