Dainya Madhuri · Pad 44
dayāmaya! dayā chahauṁ nahiṁ nyāya
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh ocean of mercy, Shyāmasundara! I want mercy, not justice. Oh Lord! If You decide to do justice, You shall not be able even to count my sins. When one has to suffer punishment for even unintentionally committed sins, then, Oh Lord! What fate will that person have to undergo who commits sins knowingly? As far as justice is concerned, it is exercised even in the world as far as possible, but You are causelessly merciful; take this into account. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, ‘I am not saying anything cleverly. Peep into my heart and see Yourself.’
