Dainya Madhuri · Pad 10
aho hari! kahauṁ kauna pai jāya
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh Shyāmasundara! Who else is there besides You who will listen to our humble cry? We listen through the Vedas and the Shāstras that heaven is full of great splendour but the actions leading to heaven require complete observation of extremely difficult rules and regulations. Again, at the exhaustion of those good deeds, one has to enter the lower forms of dogs, pigs, etc. Wife, son, friends and others are extremely selfish. Moreover, they are beggars themselves. It is heard that knowledge gives liberation, but as far as we are concerned, we are ignorant, and secondly, I don’t like liberation even in a dream. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, we are sitting doggedly at Your door to enforce compliance of our demand. We have decided to beg only from You for endless time. It is impossible for us to beg from others even if they are heavenly gods.
