aho hari! kaba te dwāra khad̤o
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh Shyāmasundara! A humble beggar has been standing at Your door for a long time. He is begging for Your grace with the burden of innumerable sins on his head. Oh Ocean of mercy! When I look at myself, a great sinner as I am, I feel like disappearing into the earth for embarrassment, yet when I think about Your promise of ‘causeless mercy’, I gather some courage. I have heard from the saints that You love causelessly. With this faith, I have been sticking to Your door, beseeching You for grace. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh Lord! I am the greatest of all the sinners You have met so far.”
