Siddhanta Madhuri · Pad 136
hameṁ to, eka shyāma soṁ kāma
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Shyāmasundara alone and none else is our goal. There is only one purpose of our life and that is to live in Nandagrāma, to beg for food and to sleep without a care in the world. We ceaselessly sing Shyāmasundara’s names, attributes and līlās. We neglect even the abode of Mahāvishṇu, Baikuṇṭha and pleasingly stroll only in Braja. Swaying with joy, we roam in its groves, where all forms of liberation serve as maids. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “We do not care for anyone else. We have faith in Shyāmasundara alone and being absolutely dependent on Him, we sleep without a care in the world.”
