Siddhanta Madhuri · Pad 109
sakhī! sunu ika kautuka kī bāta
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh sakhi! Listen to an amazing thing. The Supreme Lord, whose māyā makes even Brahmā, Vishnu and Shaṅkara dance day and night, feels enraptured with joy, dancing on the clapping of the maidens of Braja. The Absolute Brahma, by whose fear even Yamarāja, the god of death, trembles with fear and cannot stand in front of Him, all of a sudden, feels afraid in going before Kishorī Jī to appease Her when She does māna. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “There is nothing surprising in this because the whole world knows that beloved Shyāmasundara is helpless before the power of love.”
